Malapitan vowed to improve health center facilities, delivers new dental equipment

The Caloocan City government partnered with the Department of Health (DOH) to provide new dental chairs for 15 health centers across the city.

Under DOH’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program, the following centers received new dental chairs which aim to provide better service and more comfortable experience to residents who require dental check-up and services:

—Amparo Health Center

—Bagbaguin Health Center

—Bagong Silang Ph 1 Health Center

—Bagumbong Dulo Health Center

—Cielito Health Center

—Deparo Health Center

—Barangay 178-B Health Center

—A. A. Zapa Health Center

—Barangay 14 Health Center

—Barangay 18 Health Center

—Barrio San Jose Health Center

—Francisco Health Center

—Grace Park Health Center

—Sampalukan Health Center

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan emphasized that this is just the start of the improvement of healthcare services and facilities in Caloocan and likewise reiterated his intentions to further upgrade health center facilities in the city.

“Simula palang po ito ng pagpapaunlad natin sa mga pasilidad at kagamitan ng ating health centers. Hangarin natin na unti-unting maisaayos ang bawat heath centers sa mga Barangay at maparami ang serbisyong kaya nilang maibigay para sa ating mga kababayan,” the Mayor said.

He likewise thanked DOH and the City Health Department (CHD) for their continuous partnership efforts in reforming the city’s public healthcare system.

“Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa DOH at sa CHD sa inyong walang patid na pagtutulungan at pakikipag-ugnayan upang matiyak na maayos ang sistema ng pampublikong kalusugan sa Lungsod ng Caloocan,” he said.
