Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, together with the City Environmental Management Department (CEMD), led the community clean-up drive at Barangay 172 and Barangay 177 in  North Caloocan and Barangay 18 in South Caloocan, in line with his directive of a clean and orderly city.

According to CEMD Officer-in-charge Ryan Castillo, the department was instructed to conduct community clean-up drives to ensure that all public areas, including roads and alleyways are clean.

Likewise, the department also conducted fogging and declogging activities to help prevent the spread of dengue-carrying mosquitoes.

Mayor Along commended the entire team for their efforts, and reminded them that this is only the start of their service to the people and the environment and likewise called on the citizens to maintain the cleanliness of each community.
