To help boost the immunity of its residents, the Quezon City government is intensifying its vaccination program for all eligible individuals, including the bedridden.

It is set to open more vaccination sites across all six districts to accommodate its remaining unvaccinated residents and those whose booster shots are due.

BOOSTER SHOTS. The Quezon City government is still in full swing of vaccinations for the first dose of adults, youth ages 12 to 17, and for booster shots. The vaccination sites include MRB Vaccination, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Brgy. Fairview, Brgy. Gulod, Brgy. UP Village, Manotoc Covered court in Brgy. Baesa, Culiat High School, Quezon Memorial Circle, and Pinyahan Elementary School. Those who want to have their first dose or booster shots can register online with their QC Vax Easy Plus. There will be a total of 36 regular vaccination sites, 21 special or pop-up sites, and 16 mall or establishment vaccination sites.

Drive-through vaccination sites will also be made accessible as well as house-to-house vaccination for the bedridden.

School grounds would also be used as additional vaccination sites, while there would be permanent vaccination sites in different areas, including malls, events venues, and other eligible sites.

The city’s Mega Vaccination Site, Smart Araneta Coliseum would re-open its doors on Jan. 15.

Dr. Maria Lourdes Eleria, QC Task Force Vax to Normal coordinator, said “last year, we went all out to achieve our target of 1.7 million vaccinated adult individuals in record time. The same strategies will be implemented this time, including maximizing partnerships with the private sector such as malls and business establishments, churches, civic associations and other stakeholders.”

Individuals may register to be vaccinated through the QC VaxEasy portal www.qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.
