Huawei Philippines announced the signing of two Memoranda of Agreements with the University of Sto. Tomas.
According to Liguodong, Huawei Director, the collaboration and partnership will bring a comprehensive, worldwide recognized professional certification system, which aims to increase the awareness, ICT knowledge and skills of students of today for ICT jobs of the future.
At the signing of the Agreements, UST’s Vice Rector for Public affairs expressed appreciation of the opportunity to join Huawei’s ICT academy, which now has 10 partner schools.
“Thank you for this opportunity to partner with our university. We know that this is a very crucial step ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the demands of the new employment situation. Not only in the country but likewise globally,” Vice Rector for Public Affairs, Prof. Cheryl R. Peralta said.
