The inspiration that is Angeline Quinto

My first time to hear Angeline Quinto was when she still carried the name Angie, in the singing competition segment of a show called Diz Is It.

The Eat Bulaga preprogram hosted by Grace Lee, Bayani Agbayani, Ehra Madrigal, and Sam YG was her initial singing playground where she became the singing wonder from Sampaloc, Manila who dislodged the week-long daily winner with her very Regine Velasquez rendition of the Aerosmith pop anthem “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.”

Quinto sported a short do, body type looking like voluptuous thanks to the additional poundage that cruel medium of television brings to any individual and let us not even go to her forgettable fashion sense. It was her voice and its uncanny resemblance to that of her idol Chona Velasquez before she became the Regine, made not only a mark but an impact to all who managed to hear her during her limited reign in the show that lasted for 24 weeks.

A year after that career set back, she emerged as the first grand winner of Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar with Jonathan Manalo’s Patuloy Ang Pangarap becoming her signature anthem.  Angeline Quinto is living proof, that dreams do come true, with a lot of talent, commitment, hard work, luck, timing and blessing from the Divine.

Quinto continues to reap more divine blessings now that she is the face and brand ambassador of Ayesha Beauty Products, her latest endorsement, with an official contract signing held recently at Romulo’s Café.

The very first celebrity endorser of the newest brand that is strongly making its presence felt in the beauty and wellness market is grateful to the power couple who heads it, Michael Agmata and Armie Rosale Agmata for another dream realized and answered prayer.

An interesting reveal to this partnership is the story of Ayesha’s CEO Armie, who admits that Angeline’s anthem “Patuloy ang Pangarap” served as inspiration and motivation.

“Just like Angeline, I had humble beginnings in life and I never gave up on my dream despite the negative criticisms thrown at me,” the executive said.

“I am now part of the Ayesha family and I am ecstatic to be one. This offer came at the right time, a true answered prayer,” Angeline said of her endorsement.
