LG Electronics recently introduced its lineup of LG dualcool air-conditioners with dual inverter compressor. The units reportedly have 70 percent lower energy consumption and 40 percent faster cooling performance.
LG’s UV nanotechnology said to be capable of removing 99 percent of germs from humidity, bacteria, and viruses within the unit, was likewise introduced. The UVnano five-step total air care system in the LG dualcool air-conditioners feature PM1.0 filtration to deliver a fresh living experience for smart homes.
Helpful connectivity
The air-conditioners support connectivity with the LG ThinQ app through Wi-Fi, which enables users to remotely control the air-conditioner. LG is targeting an increase in its local market up to 15 percent in 2021 with the dualcool air-conditioners.
“The pandemic fundamentally changed how people live their lives,” said Young Park, LG Philippines vice president for air conditioners and energy solutions. “In response to this change, LG developed new air-conditioners that help protect family members from the spread of germs, viruses, and dust particles that might be in the air. The new machines’ removal and air purification capabilities are complemented by durability and energy-saving efficiency for longer use.”
