PowerSource First Bulacan Solar, Inc. (PFBSI) recently bagged 1.5 million safe man-hours without lost time incident, a milestone that shows the company’s commitment to safety and security at its power plant site in San Miguel, Bulacan.
PFBSI is a joint venture between MGen Renewable Energy, Inc. (MGreen) and PowerSource Global Holdings Corporation. The solar project is MGreen’s first and will form part of the 1,000MW renewable energy portfolio target of its parent company, Meralco PowerGen Corporation.
Construction activities for the company’s 50MWac solar farm, which reached a peak of 1,500 workers on-site, are now on the final stretch.
Early this month, PFBSI bestowed a plaque of recognition to SUMEC Complete Equipment & Engineering Co. Ltd. – the project’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor.
Ryan Panela, PFBSI site and construction manager (shown in photo with SUMEC project director Lennon Zhong), lauded SUMEC for the “outstanding job it has done to achieve the safe man-hours feat.”
