Megawide bags DOLE safety seal

Megawide’s industrial complex recently received a Safety Seal certification from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region IV. 

The Safety Seal is a certification that an establishment is compliant with the government’s minimum public health standards to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and uses or integrates its contact tracing with StaySafe.ph. 

“This is part of our commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace, not only for our staff but to all people who will go inside our facilities,” said Edgar Saavedra, Megawide chairman and CEO.

At the certification ceremony were (from left) Megawide vice president for Formworks Neil Sharpe; human resources head Jose Voltaire dela Rosa; safety manager Christopher Tamayo; and head of facilities management Ruel Alma.

Also present were DOLE regional director Exequiel Ronie Guzman; asst. regional director, Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leano II; and Rizal provincial director Marivic Martinez.
