P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation (P.A. Properties), a developer of low to medium cost housing communities in Southern Luzon, recently threw its support behind the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).

It committed to take part in offering solutions to close the housing gap in the Philippines, which is now standing at 6.5 million units. The DHSUD said this figure could snowball into 10 million units by the end of the Marcos administration.

To address this, the agency bared its plan of building one million housing units annually until 2028.

P.A. Properties has built more than 20,000 housing units across Laguna, Cavite, Pampanga, Batangas, and Bulacan. that feature peaceful ambience, and family and pet-friendly facilities, which In 2017, the company partnered with Japanese property firm Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp. for a joint venture that marries the ingenuity of Filipinos and the eye for aesthetics and functional design of the Japanese with the launch of Idesia City in Dasmariñas, Cavite, which has since expanded in key cities in Southern Luzon, namely in Lipa, Batangas, and Cabuyao, Laguna.

The company is looking forward to building 20 more housing communities in the next five years starting with Saint Joseph Ridgeview Phase II in Dasmariñas, Cavite, which had a groundbreaking ceremony last January.
