Launches Century Nuliv to build upscale ‘townvillas’, enclaves in key growth areas

BGC, Taguig City—Listed Century Properties Corp. recently launched a business unit that will focus on lower building height developments. The move is a perceptible shift from the company’s past projects which focused mostly on high-rise condominiums.

Dubbed Century Nuliv, the new thrust will address changing preferences of home buyers, particularly the perceived clamor for more space, both indoor and outdoor, while still being close to the city center. The residential developments under Nuliv are also expected to carry less risk on a per project basis.

“New standards in living and lifestyle inclinations have developed post-pandemic, and we intend to address these changes in homebuyers’ needs,” explained Century Properties Group president and CEO Marco R. Antonio. “While Nuliv will continue Century’s legacy of serving the needs of the premium and luxury market, it will do so via new product offerings wherein majority will be townhouses and other low-rise structures—which is in contrast to its historical roots of doing mainly high-rise condominiums. As a result, this new product offering will be faster to develop.”

Gentrifying Mandaluyong

The developments under the Nuliv brand will come in a range of choices: from upscale and premium townvillas, homes, and enclaves. They will be situated in key growth areas and will feature innovative architectural designs.

The kickoff project under the unit is a townhouse community called Century Nuliv Townvillas at Acqua. The development will feature 22 multi-storey houses located beside an existing Century Properties Project, Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong City.

“Acqua is a community of like-minded individuals who value convenience, safety, comfort, and a stylish lifestyle,” said Century NULIV president Monica L. Trajano. “NULIV Townvillas at Acqua is planned akin to all these principles and provides the same generous indoor and outdoor living spaces one would likely find in suburbia, but all within and integrated into the thriving Acqua community. It also offers a paramount in-city living experience and assured value appreciation since the houses and lots are located within Metro Manila.”

Tuning out the noise, hustle of the city

Each townvilla at Acqua stands on a spacious lot, with levels defined by glass balconies and high-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. Homeowners can maximize the outdoor area by creating a garden, patio, and/or parking.

Two types of homes are offered: Rhine (three-storeys; 227sqm ave.) and Seine (four-storeys; 312 sqm ave.). The number of units for each type is six and sixteen, respectively. Unit prices range from P40 Million to P60 Million.

Century Properties is known for high-end high-rise condominium projects around Metro Manila, including Trump Tower and Gramercy Residences at Century City Makati, Azure Urban Resort Residences, Century Spire, designed by famed architect Daniel Libeskind, and the aforementioned Acqua Residences. It also owns Century City Mall and is involved in the leasing of retail and office space, and property management.
