Arthaland recently launched Una Apartments in Sevina Park, an 8.1-hectare master-planned community in Biñan, Laguna.

Southern comfort. Then people behind Una Apartments check out Sevina Park’s latest jewel. From left are: Oliver L. Chan, senior vice-president, Arthaland; Christopher G. Narciso, executive vice-president, Arthaland; Arch. Manuel F. Velez, partner, Leandro V. Locsin Partners; Jaime C. González, vice-chairman and president, Arthaland; Arch. Andy Y. Locsin Jr., design consultant, Leandro V. Locsin Partners

Sevina Park is the first development in Southeast Asia to achieve Platinum certification under the LEED for Neighborhood Development and LEED for Homes categories. It also has a BERDE Districts 5-Star rating.

Accessible via the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), and in close proximity to schools, medical institutions and industrial estates, Sevina Park is envisioned to become a sustainable, close-knit community that lowers global carbon emissions, improves air quality, and reduces electricity and water bills.

“Following the success of Sevina Park Villas, Una Apartments represents the next phase for development,” said Jaime C. González, Arthaland vice-chairman and president. “We aim to bring our brand of excellently-designed, high-quality and sustainable homes to a much broader market with this mid-rise sustainable condominium comprised of studio and one-bedroom units.

Una apartments units are equipped with energy efficient air-conditioning systems and , lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures which offer residents water and energy savings by as much as 20%. Units have operable windows that provide natural ventilation and optimize natural daylight. All units are air tight to prevent sound and odor transfer between walls. Indoor air quality is assured by the energy recovery ventilator with commercial grade MERV filters and the presence of a carbon monoxide monitor.

As with other Arthaland developments, each tower of Una Apartments will have its own potager garden where residents can have access to organic produce.

Units have a floor-to-ceiling height of 2.6 meters. The floors are made with stone polymer composite (SPC) which is the latest innovative material in the flooring industry. With SPC Flooring, floors are more durable, water and scratch resistant, and easier to clean.

From Ikea with love

“Each unit comes furnished with IKEA products—from the bedroom, kitchen, living and dining area, toilet and bath,” disclosed Christopher G. Narciso, Arthaland executive vice-president. “We love to work closely with IKEA as we share the same commitment to promote sustainable living.”

Residents of Una Apartments will have access to a full-size swimming pool, kiddie pool, children’s play area, grill area, fitness center, function hall, and a sunken garden. Leisurely strolls or bike rides will be the norm amidst the architecture by Leandro V. Locsin Partners and landscaped gardens.

Sevina Park will also have its own Health and Wellness Clinic in partnership with The Medical City (TMC).
