The Arayat-Mexico solar farm, a joint venture between Citicore and ACEN, Ayala group’s listed energy platform, recently reached its full capacity and is expected to add 105 GWh of renewable energy, to be produced annually, powering some 45,000 households in Pampanga.
Once fully operational, the 72 MW solar farm can avoid over 70,000 MT of CO2 emissions annually.
The solar project has a potential expansion of up to 116 MW. ACEN is the listed energy platform of the Ayala Group.
The company has over 3,800 MW of attributable capacity in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, and Australia.
Citicore, through its subsidiary Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC), is one of the largest solar renewable energy providers, with eight solar assets in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
