Helping solo parents

Mayor Toby Tiangco (standing center, in white shirt) gives a thumbs-up as the City Government of Navotas resumed the distribution of P2,000 in financial aid to qualified solo parents through the Gender and Development (GAD) fund. In addition, the mayor’s brother, Navotas Rep. John Rey Tiangco, co-authored House Bill 8097, which sought to expand the benefits under the Solo Parents Welfare Act.
