Black Hearts Day

Health workers from various public and private hospitals hold a ‘Black Hearts’ Day Protest’ in front of the Department of Health in Sta. Cruz, Manila, blasting the administration’s ‘continued and outright negligence of their safety, protection, rights, and welfare by implementing anti-health workers’ policies.’ Teachers hold a similar protest on Monday at the Department of Education over the ‘heartless’ denial of their overtime pay.
