Law enforcement authorities destroyed in one fell swoop 5,100 fully grown marijuana plants in two plantation sites in Kibungan, Benguet. Police Col. Lyndon Mencio, Benguet provincial police office director, said joint operating troops from Kibungan Municipal Police Station, Benguet Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cordillera Administrative Region discovered the two sites, planted to an estimated P1.02 million worth of the prohibited plants.
