On December 6, 1896, the trial of Dr. Jose Rizal on charges of rebellion, sedition and conspiracy began. Rizal was implicated as the mastermind of the revolution against Spain and charged as a traitor. The Noli Me Tangere chess board is owned by Seth Frederick Jalosjos.
