URC program

Universal Robina Corp. president and chief executive Irwin Lee (left) and La Carlota City Mayor Rex Jalando-on take part in the covenant signing for URC’s third monthly collection of used plastics in Barangay RSB as part of the waste management program Juan Goal for Plastic, which was launched in July 2022. JGFP is a Gokongwei Group-wide plastic waste management program that aims to help keep plastics away from nature through collection and recycling. URC piloted the program in La Carlota City, and now has seven collection sites in communities within Luzon and Visayas.
