New TransCo president

National Transmission Corp. welcomes the appointment of Dr. Rowena Cristina Guevara as the new president and chief executive of the corporation. The TransCo board of directors moved for the appointment of Dr. Guevara, making her the first female president of TransCo since its creation in 2001. Prior to her appointment as the new head of TransCo, Dr. Guevara served as the undersecretary for research and development at the Department of Science and Technology and executive director of DOST-Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development.
