NPA ambush

Three cops were hurt after suspected communists ambushed their patrol vehicle in Barangay Cabalwa, Oriental Mindoro on Monday morning. Police said the rebels also burned the vehicle of the cops before leaving the area. A firefight between police and alleged NPA members is still ongoing in Oriental Mindoro. The NPA members reportedly also burned a police patrol car.
