Citicore closes deals to supply renewable energy to more companies

Citicore Power Inc. said Thursday it is expanding its market reach by supplying renewable energy to several corporations across the country to power their operations.

The company said it recently forged partnerships with several corporations from different industries while strengthening its connection with existing clients through Citicore’s retail supply arm, Citicore Energy Solutions. Inc., a retail electricity supplier licensed by the Energy Regulatory Commission.

Citicore president and chief executive Oliver Tan said in a statement the company is optimistic and committed in establishing partnerships while utilizing socially-responsible technologies and methodologies.

“As a company who is backed by a strong and competent team, we look forward to partner with businesses having the same goals for renewable energy and the country, to bring progressive energy solutions in achieving strategic goals and business objectives,” Tan said.

CESI recently closed new a contract with food and agricultural industry players including Liberty Flour Mills Inc., a manufacturing and distribution company known for its flour business and related products which include bakery flour and mill feeds.

It also signed a contract with Provera Nutritional Solutions, Corp., a wholesaler of feed milling and farm supply in the Miscellaneous Store Retailers industry.

CESI was able to close a contract with South Town Centre, a three-story and 73 units commercial shopping center developed by Limchua Development Corp.

Succeed Asia Ventures Inc., a real estate developer and casino service operator located in Cagayan Freeport Economic Zone and Ground 18 Realty Corp. (Bench Tower), a commercial office in Taguig, renewed its partnership with CESI for two more years.

The Department of Energy earlier approved CESI’s participation in the Green Energy Option Program which enables Citicore to make its renewable energy solutions accessible to more customers and communities.
