Cebu Pacific on Wednesday said it is adding flight frequency between Manila and Bacolod to meet rising demand for travel.

The airline owned by the Gokongwei Group will add daily flights from Manila to Bacolod starting December 16, bringing its total to 16x weekly.

The airline will be operating Manila-Bacolod flights twice daily, on top of its twice weekly flights exclusively for fully-vaccinated passengers until January 15, 2022.

Cebu Pacific also operates a once-weekly flight between Cebu and Bacolod every Tuesday.

“We remain committed to rebuilding the public’s trust and confidence in air travel, and we will continue to collaborate with the government to achieve this goal,” Michael Ivan Shau, chief corporate affairs officer at Cebu Pacific said.
