The Contact Center Association of the Philippines may revise revenue growth projections amid the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on local operations.

CCAP president Jojo Uligan said in an virtual press briefing business process outsourcing companies had not stopped operating but the challenge of infrastructure rendered about 40 percent of the workforce idle.

“We need to review revisit everything, make adjustments if we have to. Definitely we need to look at our revenue projection and make adjustment based on the effect of COVID-19,” he said.

The CCAP announced a growth of 4 percent to 5 percent early this year.

“I think evidence already alluded that there’s definitely an impact to our growth rate for this year. I’m sure even our clients will revisit their projections for 2020 and make certain adjustments whether going up or has it been going down (already). That’s all part of the alignment and recalibrations that we need to do,” Uligan said.BPOs set to revise revenue growth goals
