At least seven German companies are looking for investment opportunities in the Philippines or local partnerships in the cold chain sector.

The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) held a webinar Tuesday as part of promoting energy-efficient technologies by German companies interested in the Philippine market.

“This business mission presents another opportunity for German businesses to explore the Philippine market and pursue partnerships that will strengthen its bilateral economic relations,” said GPCCI executive director Christopher Zimmer.

He said the seven German companies, namely C4CONSULT Effizienz-Netzwerk, Eeaser GmbH, INDYON GmbH, Ingenieurbüro Meyer-Olbersleben, Hörmann Beijing Trading Co., Ltd., MIG mbH, Material Innovative Gesselschaft and SolarNext AG, were all keen on investing in cold chain facilities and storages given the proper incentives.

The German firms, he, added, were encouraged by the interest shown by participating Philippine companies looking for potential business opportunities with Germany.
