Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp. said it embarked on programs to integrate environmental, social and good governance principles in it way of doing business.
“We believe that these ESG programs amplify Cirtek’s core values of excellence, integrity, innovation and sustainability,” Cirtek vice chairman Jorge Aguilar said in a statement.
For its environmental program, Cirtek employees converted a previously idle land located the back of its office building into a garden. Cirtek employees planted various types of vegetable seedlings with the high expectation that they would later reap a bountiful harvest of green, leafy vegetables.
“The year 2021 promises a surprising, increased growth in the semiconductor and wireless, broad band business segment of Cirtek, fueled perhaps by the shortage of semiconductor chips worldwide, the positive outlook of the end of the pandemic crisis and the return of customer demand on various commodities including electronics parts for automotive application,” Cirtek said.
