Arthaland may top expansion target

Arthaland Corp., a leading green building developer, said it may exceed the target of expanding its development portfolio by five times by 2024.

Arthaland president Jaime Gonzalez said in a press briefing the company was on track to reach 500,000 square meters of development portfolio over the next five years with the recent acquisitions of two properties in Makati and one in Cebu.

The group has other properties in its land bank that have yet to be developed, including a 35-hectare lot in Tagaytay and five hectares in Batangas.

“With the overwhelming positive response towards our green developments in 2019, we are on track to grow our development portfolio by 5 times by 2024,” Gonzalez said.

“But I would not be surprised if we exceed our target because we have other properties in the pipeline and there are other companies that are interested in partnering with us,” he added.
