Sika Philippines Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swiss company Sika Group, said it started rebranding its Davco and Lanko products into Sika brands.
“In line with the integration of Sika and Parex last 2019, we are transitioning Davco and Lanko brands under the Sika brand while retaining their product names. The transition will begin in the second quarter of 2022 onwards until old packaging are fully depleted,” said Sika Philippines general manager Christophe Lejeune.
Lejeune assured there would be no changes on the Davko and Lanko product formulations despite the rebranding. “We will continue to provide you with the same trusted and excellent product quality,” he said.
The company is undertaking the rebranding for consumers to fully benefit from the Sika brand’s reputation of delivering high-quality products.
Parex brands—Davco and Lanko—were initially introduced in the Philippines in the 1990s through distributors before Parex Group Inc.’s establishment in 2008. In 2019, Sika completed the global acquisition of Parex, resulting in Davco and Lanko becoming Sika brands.
