Property developer FIlinvest Land Inc. said Tuesday it plans to install renewable energy facilities in new industrial developments in Clark, Pampanga and Laguna.

FLI said in a disclosure to the stock exchange it signed a memorandum of agreement with Filinvest-ENGIE Renewable Energy Enterprise Inc. to bring eco-efficient solutions to Filinvest Innovation Parks at New Clark City and Ciudad de Calamba in Laguna.

Under the agreement, FLI and FREE will develop sustainable energy solutions such as solar, district cooling and facilities management to power smart, future-forward cities that drive and accelerate progress while reducing their carbon footprint.

Both firms will initially develop renewable energy generation systems in ready-built factories within the two Filinvest Innovation Parks. FLI said the plan will not only create value for company but also for its tenants through competitive power rates and carbon footprint reduction.
