GrabFood, the online food delivery unit of Grab, plans to expand into at least 10 cities in the Philippines next year in a bid to increase market share.

“We continue to grow, we are launching at least 10 more new cities in 2020 and hopefully more,” said GrabFood Philippines Edward Joseph de la Vega.

GrabFood operates in 35 cities across Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Bacolod.

De la Vega said expanding to more cities would open more revenue steams for merchant partners and bring the best of Filipino food cuisine to consumers when they need it.

GrabFood remains the  number one most often used food delivery platform in the Philippines, a position it has held for 10 consecutive months from December 2018 to September 2019.
