The Civil Aeronautics Board and the city government of Parañaque signed a milestone memorandum of understanding during the formal launching of the city’s Project Express Lane Operation, or Project ELO, to simplify and integrate the licensing process.

The agreement was signed by Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez and CAB Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla in the presence of acting Director General Ernesto Perez of the Anti-Red Tape Authority and Melanie Malaya, head of the city’s Business Permits and Licensing Office during a simple ceremony at the city hall.

The city government launched Project ELO to simplify and integrate business permit renewal system in a bid to enhance investor confidence and improve service delivery to local and foreign investors.

CAB and the Parañaque government will implement a system viewing and access through Project ELO for verification of business permits issued to CAB stakeholders and applicants to reduce the required documentary submissions for applications.
