The recent Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards celebrated a diverse collection of real estate developers, projects and agents with more than 45 winners from across the region honored.

The star on the evening was SM Development Corp. from the Philippines. The developer collected four awards, including Developer of The Year Southeast Asia 2022, the event’s top honor.

This was the first time since 2019 that the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards were held fully in person with winners hailing from seven different countries. Nearly 300 property leaders were in attendance for the biggest night in Southeast Asia real estate which took place at Four Seasons Bangkok.

“Competition both domestically and regionally has seen the quality of Southeast Asia real estate improve greatly over the past few years. From urban condominiums to beachfront villas, property seekers expect the best and the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2022 winners deliver in that regard,” Adam Sutcliffe, Dot Property Group Director, Events and International Markets, said. “However, the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2022 was much more than a celebration of winners. It was an opportunity for us all to finally be together in one place, share stories and reconnect after three long years.”

In addition to winning Developer of The Year Southeast Asia 2022, SMDC collected the Special Recognition Award for Corporate Social Responsibility while its Sail Residences and Gold City projects were also recognized. Taking home four accolades this year is both a source of pride and a platform to build on for the homebuilder.

RLC Residences and Grand Land also represented the Philippines at the presentation ceremony. The former won Best Sustainable Development for its Sierra Valley Gardens project and the latter saw The Piazza at The Grand Citygate Davao presented with the award for Best Lifestyle Condominium Development.

“The success for SMDC, RLC Residences and Grand Land at the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2022 is amazing,” Tanya Peralta-Yu, Dot Property Group Country Manager – The Philippines. “It shows developers and projects in the Philippines can compete with the region’s best. This is a remarkable achievement for the entire Philippine real estate industry.”

Elsewhere at the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2022, leading Thai developers Supalai and MQDC; Vietnamese firm DOJI Land and Sime Darby from Malaysia were among this year’s winners.
