An ongoing 20-day photo exhibit showcasing the craftsmanship of Tariff Commissioner Ernesto Albano is drawing rave reviews while on display at the Arts Gallery of the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City.

Dubbed “Let me tell ‘ya ‘bout: the birds and the bees…,” the exhibit opened on Sept. 30 and will run up to Oct. 13, 2019. It is the second of such project put together by the commissioner who is a lawyer-economist by profession with a passion for photography.

His romance with the camera began as a family photographer and by volunteering for school activities and organization gatherings and milestones. Some of his creations have landed in the pages of magazines and book covers.

Having picked up photography as an avocation, Ernie, as he is called by family and friends, never leaves home without his camera, even on his way to work or other official appointments.

He is a firm believer of the dictum that a window of opportunity for a rare photo shoot may present itself even for a fleeting moment, and he must capture that moment for posterity. “There is no substitute for taking extraordinary images to being at the right time at the right place,” he says.
