Life is meant to live with no excuses and travel with no regrets. This famous line may elaborate why travelers sit back, sigh-deeply and look into space misty-eyed.

Traveling is like flirting with life. Sometimes, you would say that you would stay in that place because you love it but in the first place you know that you have to leave. You need to say goodbye because you are yet to explore so much.

Traveling also makes our life a story worth telling, you will realize that you only have little space in this big wide-world where you will be in love with the cities you never been to and you will be attached to those people you never met.

As soon as I saw you. The reason why people love to travel varies. Everyone has their own reason why they decided to be an adventurer. Some of it is very personal but most of the time, travelers are triggered by something. It can be a life-changing event that they don't want to miss out or it could be a sudden change of feeling giving them the desire to pack their things, fly the nest and set a memorable journey.

Here are the top five reasons why people keep on traveling as revealed by a travel expert.

1. To celebrate and appreciate life.

Life is short and the world is wide. It is bad that one day you will realize that you can never do the things you always wanted to do. That's why you should be brave enough to take the risk of being an adventurer, nothing can substitute on experience. Try to sit down and relax, appreciate life. Somehow, it will give you a realization that money is worth nothing if you can't even use it on a little adventure. Why not escape life just for a moment? The memories that you will create is more valuable than the money that you will earn because in this fast-changing world, we should accept the fact that we are human. We are alive, we are free to head out to our usual routine and take the place we never been to.

2. To learn, to explore and to know the story behind the history.

Seeing the world is more educational than any academic class. Traveling, visiting and immersing different places is one of the best learning experience. On the other hand, while traveling you are bound to receive few culture shocks. The way people greet each other, the food they eat, their body language, their style, and their custom, in general, is really different that makes you become an explorer. It will also a realization that despite our varied culture we should respect those differences. At the same time, it can be the moments you will understand all the hard works written in history, time for you to appreciate its inner beauty. The history of those places will fill your enthusiasm and may leave an everlasting impression on your life.

3. To be inspired.

Apart from those breathtaking destinations, meeting incredible and amazing people is the best thing while traveling. Their stories make you inspired that despite those countless problems in life, still smiling, still fighting, and still traveling. Life must go on because the world is full of beautiful souls. Meeting those people may alter your old perceptions, you may get a bigger picture of the world. With their shared stories, you will grow, you will become a storyteller of your new life. Traveling let you authored all those scary and crazy experiences and a life full of no regrets. Remember, in all books in the world, the best stories are found on the page of your passport—traveling.

4. To better know yourself.

Having a journey is a perfect spot for you to understand your inner self, to be out of your comfort zone and to discover yourself as a traveler. Sometimes, you will find yourself in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes traveling helps you to discover your capabilities. Even though you have that fear that holding you to try new things, but you should understand that no great stories start within your comfort zone. Break it! Yes, traveling may be dangerous, full of life-threatening possibilities, and will not always be comfortable, but at the same time, quite challenging for you. Adventure may hurt but humdrum may kill you. So get away from your home and give the opportunity to reflect on your life.

5. To create memories.

Collecting memories—from today and the future—is one of the best reasons why people keep on traveling. You should fill your life with endless memories you created while adventuring. Your money may be lost but the memories you build will last forever. Someday, if you look back to those moments that you captured, you make it relive again, making you smile. You should not collect things, you should collect memories. It's priceless, my dear. And it's better to die with memories, not with just a dream.

Time will past away, you can either spend it creating the life you want and live it as the life you never wanted. The choice is yours. But always remember, traveling help you to discover the answers on your personal why's because the best thing in life are the people you love, the place's you've seen, and the memories you created along the way.
