STARTING Dec. 5, Hans Bayaborda will helm Microsoft Philippines as Managing Director/Country General Manager, taking over from Bertrand Launay, who served in the interim.
Hans joins Microsoft Asia Pacific from HPE, where he served as Country General Manager at Hewlett Packard Philippines Corporation, and was responsible for growing the business and building organizational capabilities and talent.
At Microsoft, Hans is responsible for delivering Microsoft’s overall business growth, and its leadership and vision through solutions and services that span security, intelligence, cloud, productivity and communications to help customers realize their digital transformation objectives.
An industry veteran for more than 20 years, Hans has extensive experience in the telecommunications and IT industries, and has served in leadership positions in various large organizations, including Oracle, Bayantel, Globe, and Smart Communications.
