Dell launches new G-series gaming laptops

Dell has recently introduced the new G-series gaming laptops that are expected to bring out the best in gamers of all levels and budgets.

The G-series, designed and engineered for the gamers who prioritize performance and excellent gameplay, are equipped with powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series GPUs, 8th Gen Intel® Core processors, thermal management solutions, intelligent content prioritization software, MaxxAudio Pro speakers, full HD anti-glare IPS panels, and other complementary features.

“We are ambassadors to the PC gaming world,” said Jay Ranola, Consumer Head, Dell Philippines. “From pushing the boundaries of innovation and creating systems for all gamers, we are enabling gamers of all levels to game at their best with these new affordable G Series line-up.”

Priced starting at P49,990, the 15-inch Dell G3 15 laptop (in Black, Recon Blue, Alpine White), is powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, and comes in either 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 or Intel® Core™ i7 CPUs. 

It also has the following features, namely dual fans and up to two hard drives; 2×2 WiFi antenna design; SmartByte software that prioritizes gaming and video content; and a sleek 22.7mm (15) profile that encourages gaming-on-the-go. It is interesting to mention that Dell G3 15 is Dell’s thinnest gaming laptop to date.

On the other hand, the price of Dell G7 15 starts at P58,990. It is designed for those who put a premium on performance from the Dell G3 systems. Dell G7 15 has a sleek 25mm thin 15-inch chassis, with GPU options up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPUs with Max-Q design technology.

Other features include: CPU options of 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 or i7 processors with up to 6-core performance and dedicated graphics memory of up to 6GB GDDR5, dual fans and up to two hard drives, 1×1 networking optimization (supporting up to 2×2) or SmartByte software that responsively prioritizes content downloads for liquid smooth gaming and streaming, and a front air intake and rear exhaust vent to the laptops’ frames.

During the said launch, Dell also revealed that Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp” movie will feature the new Dell G5 15, a powerful gaming laptop that enables great in-game performance and stunning visuals, and the award-winning XPS 13.

Behind the camera, artists at the VFX studio DNEG, who worked on Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” also used Dell technology that includes Dell Precision 7910 workstations, Dell EMC PowerEdge R630 rack servers with MD3460 RAIDs, Dell EMC PowerEdge M1000e Blade Server Enclosures, and hundreds of Dell monitors.
