Award-winning smartwatch and fitness brand Amazfit held a launch together with leading gadgets and accessories retail store Digital Walker on March 27 at Le Petit Souffle, Century City Mall which aimed to showcase Amazfit's amazing features, style, and value.
Hosted by sports reporter and DJ Carla Lizardo, the event gathered industry writers, editors, and influencers, for one enjoyable afternoon.
Digital Walker’s Brand officer Arbie Bandiling joined Carla in hosting duties by introducing the first activity, a game called The Amazing Race facilitated by Mystery Manila that surely challenged members of the media while they got to know the brilliant features of Amazfit's wearable tech.
To start the activity, everyone was divided into five groups and were given mystery challenges to solve at a limited time.
Winners of Amazfit: Race Against Time game were given prizes by Digital Walker’s AVP of Brands Arlene Siongco.
After the game, guests got to know the brand even better with a presentation by Amazfit’s Overseas Marketing Manager April Zhong and Overseas Sales Manager Sophia Liao.
They gave a brief introduction on Amazfit’s history as well as existing line of innovative products and the features that make them special.
Through the product displays, guests got to experience the innovative and convenient features Amazfit smartwatches and were amazed at their reasonable prices. Three were presented to the members of the media and bloggers.
Highlighted during the event was Cor2, priced at P2,990, which maintains a 20-day battery life with useful functions such as daily message notification display, NFC card-swipe, step counting, and alarm clock.
Sporting a 1.23-inch color IPS LCD display, it also has a Sports function that shows key data in real time, which is great for running, cycling, or jogging. The 5ATM waterproof-grade gadget can be worn while doing water activities. Along with neat features like heart rate tracking, and calorie consumption, and control music, you can also use the bracelet to record and analyse your sleep.
Presented during the event as well was the Bip, price at P3,490, which features 30+ days of battery life on a single charge, a reflective always-on color touch display, GPS, barometer, geomagnetic sensor, PPG heart rate sensor, 3-axis accelerometer for activity, sports and sleep tracking, while weighing only 1.1 ounces.
Amazfit’s Verge variant, priced at P8,490, is the perfect combination of style and technology. The Verge comes with 11 sports modes including running, walking, climbing, tennis, skiing, cycling, and elliptical training, GPS + GLONASS route and distance tracking, and the ability to make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth connection to an Android mobile phone.
