Nationa ssports associations that continue to have internal disputes and unliquidated financial assistance will no longer receive help from the Philippine Sports Commission next year.

Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William Ramirez said this as the government sports agency prepares its plans and programs for 2019.

“As a partner that could share responsibilities and share sacrifices, we would like the NSAs to transform, to comply with liquidation within 30 days and resolve disputes,” said Ramirez.

Ramirez said they will cut off support if there is no unity from within an NSA and no liquidation of funds within 30 days.

The PSC chief said this as excitement continues to build up on construction of the Philippine Sports Training Center that will be built in Rosales, Pangasinan.

The facilities inside a 20-hectare land is expected to begin by July next year.

Because of this, the PSC will be able to improve on their talent identification program and inspire the agency to push through with its grassroots programs.

Competitions for the indigenous games and women’s games will have a venue where it can flourish, according to Ramirez.

The agency is now into talks with the province of Tarlac on sharing responsibility in the development of the center that will rise in Rosales, Pangasinan.

The facilities will be built in land located in the border of Pangasinan and Tarlac.
