Phoenix signs Garcia, Potts

Filling in some roster spots, Phoenix Pulse boosted its backcourt for the upcoming Philippine Basketball Association Governors’ Cup by signing two intriguing free agents.

The Fuel Masters acquired guards RR Garcia and Davon Potts from free agency to complete their line-up.

Both are signed on short-term deals, meaning their length of stay with the team depends on their performance and fit.

Garcia and Potts are hoping that they can finally find a home in Phoenix.

In his journeyman career thus far, Garcia’s last stop was TNT, where he was relegated to free agency early in the year.

Just early this month, Garcia also tried to land a roster spot in Rain or Shine but failed to do so.

Potts was recently released by Alaska after failing to find his niche with the Aces as he saw limited minutes in his more than a year of stay there.

The two spitfires are expected to help fill in the void left of key Phoenix players LA Revilla (injury) and Calvin Abueva (suspension), who are still both out of commission.
