Highway Hills nails 4th win

Undefeated Highway Hills Integrated School clobbered Notre Dame of Greater Manila, 38-20, to march to its fourth straight triumph and the Group C lead of the 18-Under Developmental Division of the 31st Women’s Basketball League.

Highway Hills was dominant from the start as it pushed the still winless Notre Dame to its third straight defeat in this tournament organized by the Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center sponsored by Milo and supported by Rain or Shine, Chris Sports, and SKLZ.

Miriam College, meanwhile, notched its second straight win at the expense of winless St. Theresa’s College (0-2), 19-10, to match St. Scholastica Academy-Marikina’s 2-0 output on top of  Group A.

In the 18-Under Competitive Division, Casimiro Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School routed Our Lady of Mercy School (0-3), 31-3, for its third win in four games to stay behind a still clean Chiang Kai Shek College (3-0) in Group A.
