Tough sked for Adamson Falcons

IT’S a tough and busy week for the Adamson Falcons.

And they hope to come out of it in flying colors.

Falcons’ coach Franz Pumaren said this as the San Marcelino-based dribblers prepare to meet University of the Philippines at 2 p.m. today at the Araneta Coliseum. Hurdling the Fighting Maroons will allow the Falcons to claim their fourth win in six games in the 80th UAAP men’s basketball tournament.

“For us to be successful, it will have to be a collective effort from the players,” said Pumaren.

The Falcons have a three-game schedule this  week that’s expected to take its toll on the team’s endurance.

So far, they have beaten the University of the East Warriors, 79-60, last Sunday. They are now on a two-game winning streak.

The Fighting Maroons share a 3-2 slate with the Falcons after they absorbed a 59-78 setback at the hands of the Tams last Sunday.

Later, the defending champion La Salle Green Archers will clash with the UE Warriors at 4 p.m.
