Mambajao Mayor Jurdin Jesus Romualdo said that they are very happy with the outcome of hosting the event for the first time.

Mayor Romualdo said that it has been the dream of his parents who were former governor and congressman of the province to host such events.

“It is now a reality, a 20-year in the making sports complex project and we are making sure that the complex will be completed with other sporting facilities so that we can host even bigger sporting events,” said Mayor Romualdo, who added that they will be doing a post assessment next week to see what can be done further to improve their performances.
