The #28 Top Female DJs in the World by FDJ List auditioned for the role of the social-climbing girlfriend number two of Hero Bautista’s billionaire character and got it unanimously. She is joined by Croatian model and singer Marija Debelic as Hero’s original girlfriend.

“My role is a total social climber. I like Vito (Hero) just because he is so rich, but afterwards I fell in love with him,” DJ Luane gives a sneak peek into the movie Fusion, a movie with a culinary angle.

In the culinary masterpiece, Marija wanted to have a Croatian restaurant so Hero bought one for her. But, a Brazilian restaurant owned by Luane was put up beside her resto so the ladies started fighting, eventually even over Hero.

“I am very excited about the movie. It’s funny and I enjoyed doing it, so I hope everyone will enjoy it as well. Fusion will be submitted to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival,” she adds.

Luane says she enjoyed doing the film because they were always eating, as the movie revolves around good food. She admits she eats a lot, does not stick to any strict diet, yet she does not gain much weight. She also says she is trying to be a good cook, mastering Filipino dishes such as adobosinigang, and her favorites binagoongan and monggo with talbos ng kamote.

DJ Luane was born in Brazil and has been traveling around the world as a professional model and disk jockey.

“Brazilian and Filipino food are similar because we both mix rice with everything,” says Luane who has tried and liked many Filipino delicacies especially kalderetang kambing.

Luane has traveled the world as a professional model, then decided to become a full-time DJ in 2014. She came to the Philippines seven years ago and has stayed here since then. She chose the Philippines to be her second home because of “the people who are very kind, nice and generous.”

Her music teachers are also the top Filipino DJs in the country. Luane has performed for big brands and in 2015, in the biggest festival shows all over the Philippines and in Asia, playing mostly hip-hop and EDM.

This year, she started producing original tracks alongside performing and modeling and wishes that Filipinos enjoy more house music that she produces.

Soon, Luane wants to perform all over the world to share her music, particularly in Hollywood.
