The cast of Side Show pays Manila Standard a visit on Thursday to promote Atlantis Theatrical’s highly anticipated staging of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical. The group was led by multi-awarded singer/songwriter Wency Cornejo, who is making his musical theater debut.
Side Show is based on the real-life story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton (played by Kayla Rivera and Gab Pangilinan), who try to overcome their impediment and make a name for themselves as stage and film stars. Daisy and Violet navigate their way through fortune and fame despite their differences, and along the way learn valuable lessons about love, loss, friendship, sisterhood, and what it truly means to be unique.
