Kapamilya star Bea Alonzo has recently posted a series of pictures of her wearing swimsuit. The posts generated numerous feedback, most of them were positive ones coming from netizens.
And like any proud boyfriend, Gerald Anderson is supportive of his girlfriend’s social media posts, which he considers something that promotes “body positivity.”
“Her message is very empowering—that we should not listen to what others say or dictate on how we should look. Sometimes, people say that this is how thin or sexy we must look. It’s not right,” Gerald says.
“Bea’s message is be comfortable about who you are. More than your looks, you should be concerned with your health primarily. It’s like when you engage in sports. There are good and bad plays. So, you have to set a performance-based goal in which you will be able to make up for your poor showing previously,” he adds.
Many think that he influenced Bea with her being physically fit build at present.
“It’s her decision. She’s very determined and self-motivated. I didn’t need to push or convince her,” he reveals.
When it comes to the present state of their relationship, the actor says it’s running smoothly despite the fact that they’re both busy because of their hectic schedule — Bea has a new horror movie to be shown while Gerald juggles his time among acting, basketball and running his own gym.
“What matters is that our mutual support is there,” he chimes.
Gerald points out that taking a vacation together is one reason why he and Bea’s relationship continues to go strong. It helps them as a couple to know each other better. Traveling together makes them discover new things about each other.
“Like last December, we flew to Japan. We’re very happy to explore the Land of the Rising Sun with friends. The experience was refreshing. It truly recharged us!”
Considering the depth of their relationship, many of their fans ask if they already have some wedding plans.
“I can’t say anything concrete as of now. But I know that I’m already 30 and time is running fast. It’s just that personally, I’m not in a hurry. Everything comes in God’s perfect time. I still have lots of dreams to fulfill. Anyway, when that moment comes, I should be ready. What’s good with Bea is that we share the same set of goals. She also has her own goals to achieve. She also supports me all the way.”
Speaking of new endeavors, the actor is proud of his gym called The Th3rd Floor.
“The gym is part of my lifestyle and I want to share it with people. I want to help and inspire them. It helped me reach my present stature despite the odds I faced. When I’m in the gym, that’s where I obtain clarity in my plans and next steps to take. That’s what I want to share,” ends Gerald.

Kathryn Bernardo puts an end to recent speculations and declared that everything is okay between her and boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
“I’m aware that there are rumors circulating that we have called it quits. I don’t know where it came from but sorry to disappoint them, DJ and I are still very much okay. For the record, our relationship is solid. No break-up happened!”
The popular young actress decided to break her silence on the issue after receiving a lot of tweets regarding the issue.
“As I’ve said earlier, I wonder where the speculations emanated. Daniel and I are very happy at this point. Not because we’re not posting photos in our social media accounts in which we’re together, it means we’ve broken up. Perhaps, it’s already our privacy and choice what to post, right? So, fans need not worry because we’re very much together!”
According to Kathryn, she just wants to achieve personal growth outside the KathNiel umbrella at this point.
“That’s really my plan for this year. For me, 2019 is the most challenging. I want DJ and me to grow individually in our respective career. For the longest time, we’re together in projects. Of course, I’m grateful for that because they turned out to be a success but it can’t be like that forever. 2019 is very challenging to the two of us because we’ll be doing separate vehicles. That will be good for us so that when a reunion project happens, we are more mature and whole as individuals.”
She has an upcoming film opposite Alden Richards of rival network GMA-7.
“And I think it’s a great start. It’s one important decision that I made in my career. I thought about it for so many times. I asked for signs, asked friends for their opinion and mustered all the courage that I have before arriving to such decision.”
She assures that she’ll give the project her one hundred percent.
“I accepted this movie with Alden with open arms. It’s far from my comfort zone and I’m challenged to the hilt. I’m proud of myself because I decided to do this which is for my growth as an artist,” states Kathryn.
