Multi-awarded singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre recently held a private jamming session at Lampara in Poblacion, Makati where she sang her hit songs.
She sang a duet of “Tagpuan” with her lucky fan, Jamie Manalang, who received Moira’s custom-made guitar which the singer and her husband Jason used to compose worship songs during one of the lowest points of her life.
The intimate show is part of the launch of Carousell Philippines’ new tagline, “Everyone Wins,” which shows how winning can be as simple as both buyers and sellers getting a great deal, or as meaningful as finding new connections and realizing ambitions. All proceeds of the show were donated to Moira’s chosen charity, Silungan ng Pag-Asa, a temporary shelter for cancer-afflicted children; while all earnings from selling her pre-loved items on Carousell were donated to the earthquake victims in Mindanao.
