Jon Lucas leaves Star Magic, joins Artist Center

Actor and performer Jon Lucas received a warm Kapuso welcome as he officially inked a contract with GMA Artist Center on July 2.

Ex-Hashtags member and Star Magic talent Jon Lucas is now a certified Kapuso.
Jon is grateful and excited to be finally part of the GMA family, “Napakahalaga sa’kin ng chance na ito, ang dami kong hinintay at hiniling, kaya ibibigay ko talaga ‘yung best ko rito.”

For Jon’s first project as a Kapuso, he will be joining the stellar cast of the upcoming Filipino adaptation of the Korean series Descendants of the Sun headlined by Dingdong Dantes together with Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Rocco Nacino, to name a few.

He is already preparing for his character as Staff Sergeant Benjo Tamayo a.k.a. Harry Potter, “We are doing some training right now. It’s not an easy training so I’m giving all my best especially that I’m working with big stars in this new project.”

Meanwhile, GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara is happy to welcome Jon into GMA’s roster of stars, “We are always on the lookout for talented artists that’s why we are pleased to welcome Jon to the GMA family. We look forward to showcasing his versatility and to honing more of what he has to offer.”

Apart from Santiago-Lara, present in the contract signing were Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora, and Jon’s co-manager Katrina Aguila.
