Karen Gallman, a Filipino-Australian beauty, who represented Bohol in the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas, aims to win the first Miss Intercontinental crown for the Philippines.

The 26-year-old Gallman was a standout during the Miss Intercontinental media presentation on Thursday where she wore a revealing version of the Philippine terno—a white mullet dress with a low neckline.

During the media presentation held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila (the official residence of the 87 candidates until the finals), she  won the first two special awards, namely H & H Standout Beauty and Media Favorite Awards. The H & H Standout Beauty Awards carried a $1000 cash prize.

Local and foreign media friends who covered the press presentation cast their votes after more than 80 candidates have put their best walk on the ramp which determined the Media Favorite Award.
