People…are talking about

Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin

It seems that people don’t mind even if the drama was relegated from a primetime series to a late morning program. The reunion TV project of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson made Kapuso Network’s Trops eat dusts. According to the latest ratings data from TNS Kantar and AGB Nielsen Survey, Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin is enjoying supremacy in its timeslot, which of course doesn’t make the rival station really happy.

Barbie Forteza

For an actress like her, it would take a serious amount of guts to admit that she’s not as popular or as versatile as her contemporaries in the business. In a recent interview, Barbie admitted that her career headed to a different, which she somehow doesn’t regret. She acknowledged her weaknesses as a celebrity but declined to be compared with anyone. What’s even more admirable about Barbie is that she doesn’t pretend to be someone else, which makes her fit in the direction she chose to take.

Katarina Rodriguez

A few days after the grand coronation of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, the former Asia’s Next Top Model finalist started making buzz online. She’s making headlines more than the top winner of the annual beauty contest when rumors circulated that she was giving up her crown. Katarina has since denied the rumors but it definitely shocked pageant fanatics who were actually rooting for her to win Miss Universe Philippines title.

Charice Pempengco

She hasn’t even reached the age of 30 and yet people don’t care about her anymore.  After making a series of terrible career decision, from being an international singing sensation, Charice is nothing but a washed up celebrity now. Not even her mother’s rather lengthy Facebook post made a point since her detractors are only interested to see her falter even more.

Tim Yap

The social media savvy TV host and “eventologist” recently had a dose of his own [bitter] medicine. Yap joined thousands of netizens who were talking about the Binibining Pilipinas and commented that “some of the girls don’t look like they come from the provinces they represent. He deleted the tweet after receiving numerous notifications regarding his post. You don’t post anything tasteless online then delete after drawing some flaks. It is similar to admitting that you are careless and don’t have the balls to affirm what you stand for.

ToMiho

Many are wondering why Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida’s called it quits when in fact nothing major happened between that could lead to a breakup. One thing is for sure though, manufactured parings don’t last long especially if there’s no genuine intention between two parties to stay together and if they both felt that their love team doesn’t even contribute anything to their showbiz career.
