People…are talking about

Liza Soberano

We wouldn’t be surprised if in the next coming months, another set of male concert acts would invite the Kapamilya star to watch their show in the country. After The Vamps member personally asked Liza to watch their concert early this year, it’s now Charlie Puth’s turn to show admiration for the teen star. Unfortunate for Charlie, Liza was not so jiggy about the invitation and she was too busy to attend his gig at the Kia Theater. “Haba ng hair,” right?

Julia Barretto

Responding positively to an Internet troll is an act unknown to many celebrities these days. Hence, it’s commendable when Julia replied to a basher, who was obviously attacking her way below the belt, in a rather classy fashion. Showbiz folks should learn from the young actress because stressing yourself out on bashers is a complete waste of time and energy.

Karylle

Many argue that her personality is bland and that she lacks sex appeal. Perhaps they’re correct but we can’t argue on what international audience saw when she was cast as one of the lead characters in the top-rating show Kitchen Musical. And it’s happening again. Karylle is set to play an important role in an upcoming Asian television series, which is currently being filmed in Singapore. They must have seen something in Karylle that most local audiences hardly notice.

People…are not talking about

Liza Diño

If her name rings a bell it is because she’s the partner of former child star and singer Aiza Seguerra. Together, they went to Malacañang early this week to attend the mass oath taking for the recent appointees of President Rodrigo Duterte. Not discounting Liza’s contribution as a struggling actor, some people are question her capability to head the Film Development Council of the Philippines.  We see better position fit for her and it’s not FDCP for some reasons.

Pinoy Big Brother

The premise of reality shows such as the local version of Big Brother is to present the audience an unscripted situation. But viewers are intelligent enough not to believe that idea. It’s a common knowledge that any gimmick, including manufactured arguments between housemates, is nothing but staged. Hence, it’s downright insensitive and irresponsible to humiliate the Badjao Girl on national TV. For what, just to boost the dwindling ratings?

Andi Eigenmann

The person who constantly begged for privacy and personal space has just taken her feud with ex flame Jake Ejercito to Twitter. The on-and-off lovebirds are calling each other names as they virtually throw dirt and even rub it on each other’s faces. Yet, it’s funny how these walking contradictions are still being given too much attention by their fans although they know that at the end of this online squabble they’d be back together sooner than we expected.
