Allen Brandly Mataya, Jimson Ornido and Joana Reyes, all SM scholars, successfully passed the licensure examinations given by the Professional Regulation Commission.
They are also among the SM scholar alumni who belong to roster of board exam top notchers.
Mataya, who matriculated at the National University, is now a Registered Electrical Engineer and a Registered Master Electrician. He placed 9th in the Registered Master Electrician exams.
Top 6 in the ECE board examination is Ornido, another National University alumnus.
“Thank you for believing in me and trusting me with the scholarship. It is really an honor to be a part of SM Foundation. Thank you for the gift of education,” Ormido said.
Her dream of becoming a Certified Public Accountant is now a reality, said Reyes, who graduated from Holy Angel University.
“SM Foundation helped me achieve my dream to be a CPA. Thank you to the Sy family who has made countless dreams come true, including mine,” she said.
The three SM scholar graduates are among the thousands of deserving public high school graduates who benefited from SM’s College Scholarship Program since it was launched in 1993.
