It was an evening of music, friendship, and fun during the 5th anniversary celebration of senior recreation center Sunshine Place.

The Philippine Opera Company delighted members and friends with its “Harana” suite, the Beyond Steps Class swayed to the beat of Katy the Musical, and the recreation center’s staff and instructors performed a medley of national rural folk dances as a way of thanking their members.

Members Teresita Castañeda, Bella Pilapil, Marilou Prudente, and Maricor Mendoza with Sunshine Place dance instructor Danny Vinculado and fitness instructor Danica Bautista. 
The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony, led by Sunshine Place founder Felicidad Tan Sy and president Lizanne Uychaco, of the Top 3 Sunshine Place members who actively participated in the center’s classes in Art, Dance, Fitness, and Mindful Movement / Meditation.

The Sunshine Place is a venue for adults to live actively through engaging in recreational classes and age-appropriate physical training programs.
